Hi! I am Leslie Bennett, and I am excited to serve as the Principal at Grant Elementary! I have served in education for the past 22 years.  Prior to my last 5 years serving as the Grant Elementary principal, I was a teacher, an instructional coach, as well as assistant and interim principal.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Miami University, a Master’s Degree in Teaching Middle-Level Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Dordt College. My husband, Sam, and I have three daughters who attend school in the Muscatine Community School District. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, history, and traveling. At Grant, we pride ourselves on leadership and value our positive climate and community. I am proud to work with a great team at Grant Elementary. Welcome!
