Important Times

  • 7:45 AM – Doors Open and Breakfast is Available
  • 8:10 AM – Classes Begin (Students are tardy that arrive after this time)
  • 3:05 PM – Students are dismissed

Morning Drop Off

Parents and caretakers are being asked to drop off students in the car line adjacent to the school. Drop off will occur on Barry Ave. along the fence (north side of the street) in front of the soccer field, heading west toward Mulberry Ave. from Leroy St. Drop off is anytime between 7:45 – 8:00 am. The tardy bell rings at 8:10 am. To drop off your student, pull all the way forward by the playground/fence and have students exit the vehicle carefully. They will use the walkway to walk up to the building by the playground. By pulling up as much as possible, you are allowing room for other parents to pull up behind you to drop off their children. We will have staff in that area to help as much as possible. Please exit west on Barry toward Mulberry Avenue. Only busses should enter the bus lane in front of the school. Please do not enter this area and block the buses. Please do not park or drop off students on the south side of Barry Ave. If students arrive between 7:45- 8:00 am, they will go to the gym. If students arrive between 8:00-8:10, they will go directly to their classrooms. Breakfast will be available in the gym or a bagged breakfast will be available to those who arrive later.

Afternoon Car Dismissal

Pick-up will be in the same area and in the same direction as drop-off. Pick-up will occur on the north side of Barry Ave. along the fence in front of the soccer field, heading west toward Mulberry Ave. from Leroy St. Pick-up is at 3:05 pm. Please pull all the way forward. Our staff will read the name from the yellow sign provided for your dashboard. We will radio for your student, and your child(ren) will be escorted directly to your car. Please exit west on Barry toward Mulberry Avenue. Please do not park or drop off students on the south side of Barry Ave. This process should be quick and efficient. If you must park during this busy time, please park on Sunset Dr. or Centre Dr. DO NOT park in the school lot during arrival or dismissal due to safety concerns.

Walking Arrival and Dismissal

If your student walks to or from school, they can enter or leave the doors by the front patio. Parents may park on Sunset or Centre Dr. and walk to the front to greet their children at the end of the day. To alleviate congestion, staff will be stationed at the crosswalks on Sunset Dr. and Barry Ave. to help escort students across the street where you can meet your student as well.
